  I will say it is hard to disprove the Bible.

  The bible is the anvil that has worn out many hammers.

  Having said that. 

  It might take one a life time to figure out what the bible says.

  Good Netflix shows to watch

  in the long winter nights you need some good tv shows to watch while you wait for the eternity between seasons of game of thrones.. we've watched marco polo (pretty good) and have just started watching orange is the new black which is not at all what i imagined (didn't know it was funny!).

  house of cards is on the list too as we've heard good things about that.. anyone have any others that are worth seeing?.

  Will the evolutionists save us from the coming catastrophe?

  the earth's magnetic field is in a weakening stage right now.

  data collected this summer by a european space agency (esa) satellite suggests the field is weakening 10 times faster than scientists originally thought.

  if the magnetic field weakens enough, then the earth could be hit with dangerous amounts of solar radiation and cosmic rays .....

  Emblem Takers Mentally Unstable?

  In my hall the ones who took the emblems were bat shxt crazy.

  One even accidently shot himself in the chest with a gun.

  And drove around in a car that had yhwh written all over it and

  he had yhwh signs in front of his house.

  Did you know about the organ transplant ban when you were a believer?

  back when i was learning ttatt, i was shocked to read on jwfacts about the organ transplant ban from 1967 to 1980. this was a large piece of evidence for me that the society could not be god's organization.

  growing up as an earnest witness, and living near the headquarters, i knew a lot of the organization's embarrassing history, and it didn't faze me, but i'd never heard of this ban before, and it shocked me.

  it's gotten me wondering why no one i know ever talks about it, when it must have affected many witnesses during that time (or were they getting transplants on the sly?

  I knew about it. The organ transplant deal.

  Back before the 80's there was no internet and not much communication.

  I don't think transplants were as popular as they are today, just because I lived in

  a small world and got my news and info from limited sources. The daily newspaer and Time magazine.

  When I was a witness, the JW's were against everything including life itself.

  Then in the early 80's a sickly friend had a kidney transplant and he got better.

  I wondered how could that be?

  I remember when you couldn't have organ transplants.

  And you could not eat Milky way, 3 Muskateers bars and snickers bars, any Mars candy bars

  Because the society said they had blood in them.

  I remember when the United Nations was bad sort of like the Devil or the Harlot riding

  Looking back I see the society was double minded about many things hiding behind the excuse

  Like one of the early witness presidents said religion was a snare and a racket.

  That must be why he got into it, to snare and rackateer innocent gullible people.

  I have a friend who is a scientologist and we have talked about it.

  I told him how L.Ron Hubard said a person could make a milllion dollars if he started a religion.

  My Scientology friend does not get it.

  But he did say he had to stop going to scientology whatever where ever they go because he did not have enough money.

  I bought 2 Sears and Roebuck rubber lawn hoses in 1981 and I am still using them every day in Florida.

  They came with a life time warranty.

  My father never was a witness and my mother has been out for 20 years.

  I have been to the hall for several weddings.

  I stopped going to meetings in 83 but was never disfellowshiped.

  People still talk to me.

  ive dusted it off for today.. my 81 year old ex-baptist minister friend dub and i went to starbucks for coffee and conversation.

  dub likes to start conversations with strangers.. today a seminary student caught his eye.
